Terry Avenue Saturday Market

Welcome to Seattle's newest weekend destination and Saturday Market. Terry Avenue Saturday Market was founded in the summer of 2015, and modeled after the popular European markets enjoyed by the travelers, Jon and Candace Hegeman who loved the vibrancy, color and activities they brought to communities.

Twenty five years ago, Jon and Candace started a local street market known as the Fremont Sunday Market, which outgrew its boundaries in 2010, spawning a sister farmers market in Ballard in partnership with local farmer, Judy Kirkhuff. Years later, expanding into Wallingford and the Madrona neighborhoods. Now as part of our market's 25th year anniversary of supporting local at our marketplaces, we have chosen South Lake Union to continue the tradition of our family markets.

Our Terry Avenue Saturday Market is a fresh take on the traditional farmers market with a popup mercantile attwith everything you know and love at our sister markets. We favor common sense, courtesy and intelligence over excessive bureaucracy. Our aim is to provide an accessible community marketplace for local businesses that want to sell their goods and try their ideas.

Our goal is to help people succeed and make the experience here fun and rewarding for all. We ask for your understanding, cooperation and comments as the markets continue to grow, change and evolve.
