PBS filming at Pike Place Market & Wedgwood Meaningful Movies

Award-winning journalist, author and former New York Times editor, Hedrick Smith, will be filming WAmend and Yes on 735 volunteers in action at two events this Friday, September 9th. This is a very exciting earned media opportunity for I-735 and another way to get our message out to the public.

We will be at Pike Place Market from 12-2 pm (we'll meet at the pig statue) for the first round of filming and would like to get at least 6-8 volunteers out to the market and help handout flyers and talk to Washington State voters about voting Yes on 735 this November. We will have all the materials and signs needed for this action.

In addition to filming at Pike Place Market, Hedrick and his crew will also be filming at WAmend volunteers and supporters at Wedgewood Meaningful Movies from 7-9:30 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Church, located at 8900 35th Ave NE, Seattle, WA. This film event is being sponsored by WAmend & Yes on 735, showing the documentary, "Where to Invade Next." WAmend and Yes on 735 will give a campaign update before the film, then will stay afterwards for a discussion about how money in politics effects the issues covered in the film.
