Go Skate, Tacoma!

Join us for the third annual Go Skate Tacoma event: a city-wide celebration of skateboarding!!

This year's event will include skate competitions, open-skate time on a variety of ramps and features, free skate lessons, a bounce house, raffle, arts & craft booths, and on-site screen printing of event shirts provided by The Tshirt Men Co.

The star feature of this event will be a sculpture that serves as a putt-putt golf feature on the days surrounding the event, and a skate feature during the event. The ramp was designed and constructed by students of Alchemy’s skate class at SOTA and SAMI. It is inspired and made possible by the Tacoma Art Museum’s putt-putt golf sculpture event on nearby TAM plaza and UWT’s Prairie Line Trail, in coordination with the US Open happening the same weekend.
