Celebrating our 42nd Year!
Chataqua in Chewelah is one of the oldest and longest running festivals in eastern Washington – it swells Chewelah’s population to from 40,000 to 60,000 people or more the second full weekend of July (see schedule below.)  The festival officially opens** on Friday and ends on Sunday evening. The fun-filled activities are designed to please every member of the family; young and old alike. Come and enjoy everything from carnival rides to a parade, food and merriment, free stage entertainment, sports and shopping…just to name a few!
