Where You Can Sign

  • To sign the petition you must find a hard copy and sign it with a pen, the old-fashioned way.
Fortunately this is fairly easy. You can ask us to send you a petition that you can sign and send back to us or you can check out below where you can find a petition to sign.

Local Businesses and Organizations: There are many businesses and organizations that support getting big money out of elections and have made space available in their store, cafe, or office where people can drop in and sign the petition. Check out our list below or the Businesses for Democracy map.

Events and Gatherings: Our volunteers are working collecting signatures  at events and gatherings throughout the state. Click Here to find events near you where you are likely to find a petition to sign.  Remember you can always request a petition be sent directly to you that you can sign and get family, friends and others to sign and mail back to us.

  •  If you own or manage a business, or if your church or club wants to help us get big money out of elections, you can host a “Signing Box,” which is a self-serve kiosk where customers can sign the I-735 petition. Volunteers will provide you with a window sign and a box, and they’ll check in weekly to collect completed petitions and bring fresh ones.  If you want to stand up for democracy in a very helpful, visible way, please contact Annie Phillips.  We will post your business name, link, location,  and hours of operation on our website.
  • If you know of a likely place for a box, talk to that merchant or manager.  If they’re willing, please contact Annie.

ABOUT 735 PLEDGE TO VOTE

Joe Podorsek "I’m involved in Initiative 735 because the cost of elections means people are elected who do not represent my needs or the needs of the common good."

Gary McCaig "I work on Initiative 735 because I love my great-grandchildren. Any change now, even a small change, will give them big benefits later."
- Gary McCaig, 67, retired, Lynnwood

Parker Muller "I volunteer for Initiative 735 because free and fair elections should be based off ideas and policies, not who has the bigger wallet."
- Parker Muller, 26, student, Richland

Maggie Sullivan "I support Initiative 735 because I want a political system where corporations can't buy politicians to do their bidding."
