28th Amendment Day of Action Events


SEATTLE, SPOKANE,  OLYMPIA & BELLINGHAM: Wednesday, September 28th 



Seattle Sign Waving for I-735 - TBAVarious locations and times - We need people willing to cover high traffic intersections during the day. If you are interested in helping set up a sign waving action in your neighborhood, please contact me so we can promote your action and provide you with materials and signs.

Seattle Overpass Bannering - Various locations - 4:00 - 7:00 pm - We will do as many of these locations as possible depending on how many people we get to show up. We will meet at 50th St. & 7th Ave NE location, and will send out teams from here. If you can't get there by 4 pm, show up when you can. This is the order priority of locations we hope to cover. We need at least 22-24 people to cover all these locations. A big thank you to Mike Savoca for building and suppling the banners!

-North I-5 - 45th & 50th overpasses - Need 8-10 to cover both the 50th & 45th overpasses.
-Downtown - E Denny Way overpass - Need 4-6 to cover this location
-Downtown - Yesler Way overpass - Need 4-6 to cover this location
-Hwy 99 - Ray Moore Pedestrian Bridge - Need 3-4 to cover this location
-West Seattle Bridge - SW Andover St Pedestrian Bridge - Need 3-4 to cover this location

Seattle Phone Banking for I-735IntraSpace, 3100 Airport Way S Set 24-108, Seattle - 5:00 - 8:00 pm - We will have pizza, beer, wine, and soda. All you will need is your phone and a laptop. Some people like to have headsets too! IntraSpace can fit 20-30 phone bankers and there is plenty of parking. FB Event Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/911962398909022/ 

Seattle Light Panel Action @ Kerry Park, 211 W Highland Dr, Seattle - 7:30-8:30 pm - We are also planning a light panel action in Kerry Park, overlooking the Space Needle. This is a prime photo opportunity we can use for promotion and marketing. We hope to get at least 8-10 people for this action, but the more the merrier!

Movie Showing - 6:00 pm Spokane Downtown Public Library Main Floor - A free showing of Shadows of Democracy (Mashup of The Corporation, Shadows of Liberty and Legalize Democracy)
